Does Alexandria have a support group?

I haven't had my surgery yet but trying to get everything together to send to Dr. Merriman's office. Had anyone else here used him? Was wondering if Alexandria has a support group. I think I am gonna need one to get through this.

I hope u can find a support group we have one here and i go to it every month we meet 1 time a month and i havent missed one since my journy started back in may ... we have alot of speakers at ours im 6 weeks out as of monday hope things goes good for u good luck ...Karen

Hi Karen, yes I did get your email. Sorry I haven't answered. I haven't heard of a support group here yet. I know they would be so much help. I hope to get my info sent to the Dr. next week and get started. I think they must have had a lot that has Medicare so it may be after the 1st of the year. I hope not. How is your weight loss coming along. I will have to monitor the Ala board to keep up with you. Good luck to you. Brenda

I do not know of a support group in Alexandria, but I am also interested in one there.
