OHLA: Can we talk?
Hi OHLA,
I've been late before, but this is down right ridiculous. I planned to "check on a little health concern" last Tuesday and before I knew it, an entire week has passed, I've got holes like swiss cheese and I'm feeling sooo lonesome for my OH Louisiana pals.
Tomorrow (Thursday) is our usual monthly meeting and I know I'm not the only person in need of support and love. I'm game for meeting Thursday night at Independence Park, but I thought I would throw out some suggestions for alternatives if some of you aren't able to meet and would like to get together:
*Meet Thursday
*Meet Friday night
*Meet over the weekend at a park or kid-rec place so our kids can play -- OHLA playdate
*Meet early next week
*Have a series of coffee or lunch dates -- I JUST WANT TO SEE Y'ALL
So, give me some ideas.
On the agenda: There's an OH conference in Lexington, Ky., next month. Cindee and I are attending and it's getting a ton of interest because of the strong lapbanding sessions included this time and a masquerade ball.
It's Friday and Saturday -- Oct. 27-28 -- give it a look:

On a personal note, I'm doing OK and my heart, lap band and heart checked out OK on my extended holiday in Our Lady of the Lake. I've really been blessed by your prayers and concern.
I would love to know what's up with you ...
Onward!
Frances
Hey, Frances!
It's good to know that you are feeling better!
The TX Msg Board is asking about Kat. She has moved to Arlington as you know and was posting to the board and then dropped out of site. Unfortunately, I've been fighting my own battles and hadn't been able to keep up with her. I am even unable to locate her profile. Can you provide us with some information on her and how to correstpond with her?
Greatly appreciated,
Vanessa
