Support Group meetings in Lake Charles

I was just trying to check with the ladies from leesville / Fort Polk / Deridder area and see is anyone would be interested in car pooling down to lake charles monthly to go to the support group meetings.

Do you have to be a patient of Dr. Chung's to go?

Nope - all patients are invited. We have people from all over and lots of different Surgeons who attend. Feel free to join in! It's held the second Thursday of each month at 6pm at Women and Children's Hospital of Lake Charles.

They are definitely beneficial emotionally. Before surgery, you feel like you don't fit into the world due to size, now after surgery you can sometimes feel the same way since we are very different from the world. At support group, it's a room filled with people who are in your shoes. It's an empowering couple of hours. Hope to see you there.
