Anybody in Lafayette area?

Hi, I'm new to this group. I've been lurking for a week or so. I'm in the Lafayette area and am attending a WLS seminar tomorrow conducted by Drs. Chu and Stevens. I'm mainly interested in Lap Band. I am getting concerned though, because I'm not reading much about people who've had the surgery, done well, and leveled off to a reasonably normal life. Any information you can give would be helpful. Thanks!

talk to francis, on here, she knows all about lap band, im a rny procedure, I dont know much about lap band or its sucess, I think there is a message board for lap bands here, good luck,, rhonda
