OT: Trike For Mason

I want to thank everyone for their replies, emails, info, and prayers about the 3 wheeled bike/trike for Mason. All the info was much appreciated. We are still on the hunt! We have now found some trikes, but.....we are waiting & praying for the funds to buy the trike. They are very expensive, but he NEEDS it. Every child deserves a chance to ride a bike. That is a little thing that some take for granted, but it is reality for my sweet Mason (and other children also). We were hoping to find a used trike (and still have hope), but even the ones on Ebay are new. I have phone calls in to several different programs & the support group, but nothing yet. We go to the autism therapist tomorrow so maybe she will have some info for us. Please continue to pray for Mason. His birthday is on the 15th and I so wanted to get this for him. Love, Lindy P.S. We stopped at a little Church outreach thrift store today and got several games & puzzles & 3 books for Mason! They were .25 and .50 each! He was thrilled. (The Aspergers theeapist had told us to get him these for fine motor skills therapy.)

well just to write and say hello ! I also have a son that has autism but on a very small scale ! I don't know of anyone that has trikes ,but I will take the time next week when my son goes to his therapist and see if they know anyone that can maybe help! Sorry I could not be anymore help !
