Hi Fred,
I also live in Baton Rouge and have an appointment to see Dr. Chu in Lafayette Sept. 14th. I have a bmi of 86 (yes, eighty-six) and am looking into having the DS done by Dr. Chu.
I will tell you, after attending 3 seminars by other surgeons, I was VERY impressed with Dr. Chue and Dr. Steven's presentation. Their staff is very professional yet caring. I don't know the number of times I've called to talk with Bridgett, the nurse. Fabulous!
I don't know about revisions, but I do know that she and Dr. Stevens recommend higher bmi's have the DS.
I would love to know how things work out for you.

Hi Mary,
We have a small group that meets once a month in Baton Rouge. Would love to meet ya sometimes. There's no fee and it's good to know other folks on this journey. We are from different doctors practices and here's our flyer for this week:

Hello Fran
It has been along time. I lurk into the message boards from time to time and it is good to hear from you. Right now I'm in the process of starting a new job and soon as I get everything in order I will probably be making it to some of the events which you guys have planned. I really like the way you have organized the group in Baton Rouge. Onward.
Fred
