If the people of New Orleans do not contact ACORN or call this 800 number by August 29, 2006 they will loose their property to the city of New Orleans for not cleaning it up.? I really have no idea of what this is about, but there is an ordinance in place making people gut their homes by Aug 29th. There will be warning letters sent out after Aug 29th giving people 30 days to gut their homes. At that time the City of New Orleans will come in gut your home, and place a lien against it for the cost. Our local news reported nothing about taking people's property.
