How Difficult is it to be approved

Hello everyone I am new here and have made the decision to have weightloss surgery my insurence is LA Medicaid. I understand that this can be used to pay for the surgery. What I would like to know is it extremely difficult to be approved? Do they want a record of diet attempts? Any info you have will be greatly appreciated thank you! :gossip:

Welcome to the board. Sorry I am of no help to you, don't know anything about Medicaid. I know I had to really fight my insurance but I did it and got the surgery. Jodi

Hi Jasmine! It took me two days to get approved.I didn't need any diet attempts.I have high blood pressure,sugar problems,and high chloestrolol.I hope your succesful.

I have no clue about Medicaid, but unfortunately I'm learning that it is harder to find someone to take it. Dr. O is no longer accepting it.

hi i was approved in 1 day by medicaid.It was actually very easy,no problems at all.GOOD LUCK!!!!
