1. I have found bariatriceating.com to be the best site in terms of the freshness of protein powders. I use Nectar Roadside Lemonaide -- you can't taste the powder AT ALL once you mix it -- and Matrix 5.0 chocoate made as hot chocolate - the directions are on the same page. I also sometimes use the Stallone Insure protein puddings, which I get from drugstore.com -- WAY cheaper than buying it in the store. 2. I went back half days after one week, and by the end of the week was working full days, but again everyone is different. 3. see above -- not sure about eggs as I don't like them 4. BMs are prone to either diarrhea due to the liquid diet or constipation, or both. It makes sense when your intestines are being rearranged that it would mess up your output, so to speak, for a while... in my case about 2 weeks. Eventually it will get back to normal, or maybe a new normal. 5. I have read that there's nothing you can do about your skin, it is a factor of age, your highest weight, genetics, pregnancies, etc. I did hear once that drinking a lot of water does seem to help with that. Not sure.... in my case plastic surgery is definitely in my future! 6. I take 2 Flintstones chewables a day plus a SUBLINGUAL B-12 -- under the tongue -- which isn't bad at all. Also I use Citrical Creamy Bites (calcium citrate) from Walmart for calcium, some ppl don't like them because they have 40 cals and 5 grams carb each, but for me they are a treat and getting in calcium! Billie, Here are my answers to your questions. 1. I use Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Stack. I mix 1 and 1/2 scoops of powder with 5 oz of water and 4 ice cubes. I blend in my bullet. My favorite flavors are Cookies & Cream and Cocoa Mochacchino. I drinks 3 shakes every day. 2. I had lap RNY and went back to work after 2 and 1/2 weeks. I was so tired that I cut back to half days. I really wish I would have stayed out 4 weeks. I didn't have any pain just too tired to work an 8 hour day. 3. I ate eggs when I was allowed to by my surgeon but I couldn't eat much. 4. I still suffer with constipation. I take magnesium 3 times a day and it helps. 5. I don't think anything will help with your skin. I am 55 yrs old and need major plastic surgery. 6. I take Chewable Centrum Silver because they don't have iron. I take a separate iron. I also take calcium 4 times a day, B-12 sublingual, zinc, Vit C, Vit B-100, Vit A & D, and a prescription B vitamin from my surgeon's office. Good luck to you!
