Hello all...newbie here!

Hello all! I have been visiting this site for quite some time, and have found so much useful information, great wit, and very friendly people. My Lap rNY is scheduled for the end of this month, so I am feeling a bit nervous! My doctor is Matthew French and I will be having the surgery at Southern Surgical Hospital in Slidell. I am from Luling, but since I will be paying cash, I will be having the surgery there. I just wanted to say "hello" to everyone and I look forward to getting to know all of you!! Have a great day!

Actually, I did go to school with Pokey.....she graduated one year ahead of me in high school! Thanks to all of you for your kind words!

hi ! welcome, you are using the same group i did, they are great, and anytime there are questions, they are quick to answer and quick to see the doctor if you have problems. i feel so blessed to be off all my meds, high blood pressure, diabetic, and high cholestrol, all gone, not to mention, 116lbs,, good luck , let us know if you need anything. rhonda

Welcome to the board. Good Luck with your surgery!!! The staff at Southern Surgical is great. I had my surgery there and they were fabulous. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them.
