Just a word or two

I want everyone to know that any post I ever had about Dr. Barnes was never intended to reflect how I felt about his, or his wife's, skills as doctors. I feel they are excellent surgeons. Any frustration, anger or fear I had stemmed from miscommunications between me and his office staff. With this being said, I most likely will not be posting here again. I wish you all well in your WLS journeys.

Hi Lin, I'm sorry that you've had such a pain of things. I've been off the board for a while because we were in the middle of moving...........but I've read back a bit about your account of things on your posts and I think you have a right to be upset. I'm sorry about your husband's deployment, that is the worst to go through. My husband just retired and I can tell you, the Army has been one LONG ride. I pray your husband stays safe. We only moved to DeRidder, so I'm still in the area. If you want to meet for lunch or something, I'd be up for that! That is, if you can settle your nerves long enough to eat. Do you see any of the post doctor's? I've found a few that are very compassionate about this surgery and might be of help to you. Email me privately and I'd give you their names if you want and our new phone # if you just need to chat and blow off steam. Take care and let me know if I can help you in any way. I'm guessing someone flamed you for your post. Don't let that stop you from posting. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and if they don't like it screw them. You where having some problems and you wanted to talk about them and there is nothing wrong with that. Don't let someone run you off because they don't like what you said. This board is for support and that's what you should get. Just because people don't agree with you doesn't mean they should be jumping on you. You can say whatever you like and if they don't like it they can voice their opinion but that's all it is an opinion and their like buttholes everybody's got one. We would hate to see you go for this reason. So you say what you want to say anytime you want say it, this is America and the last time I checked everyone was still aloud to say and do what they choose. Keep your head up and keep up the good job your doing great. Tina
