Sorry to all
Life is hectic once again!!! School started this past Wednesday and with that comes football practice and other activities. Not to mention I have my own agenda, town council meetings, support groups etc. Since I am back to work after being off for 5 years I am trying to get into this routine.
Because of all of this I have been away from the computer. I have always felt it was important to post to everyones posts (for the most part I do) and I have not been able to do this lately. I frequent three boards and have really developed a relationship with many, which I am so greatful!!!! I feel bad, so please forgive me.
I have three kids, one that cheers for the varsity football team, one that plays for the freshman football team and one that plays football for the middle school. Games will be on three different nights and I have never missed a game yet.
Please understand if I don't get a chance to post a reply it is not that I am not thinking about you all. Life will settle down soon, yea right!!!! It will and I will offer my support to all again. If I don't post to everyone I am sorry, please forgive me.
Hugs to all,
Jodi
Jodi,
Hey my girl
I know what you mean about life bing busy.
I have been working and tring to get my truck fixed.
I know you reply to all of my posts. I have been quite on the board too.
I was sick the past few days and have lost 3 pounds sooooooooo
I am now at 142.... I gues being busy and not eating then ate something that did not agree with me and here I am at 142 now. So today I am just doing liquids for the most part.
So how is school going so far for the kids?
Ours start on Monday here.
Well i hate to make this short but I have to get back to painting. We had to repaint the house ourselves and do some of the work so back to work I go...
Love ya,

Girl, I just typed a long reply to you and deleted it. Ugh!!!!!
Sorry about your truck I can relate. We have the camaro in the garage waiting on the parts to come in. We ordered it off the internet and it was $300.00 cheaper than getting it from the dealer. Once my husband figured out what was wrong he decided not to put it bac****il he gets it fixed. Last Sunday night the hose to my power steering pump busted on my Suburban. Of course the autoparts stores were closed. Jeff had to take me to work on Monday. He got the hose and was able to get it fixed Monday night. Then Wednesday my daughters car went kaput...I swapped cars with her and took it to Autozone so they could see why the check engine light was on. Bought the part and called hubby told him what it was. Thank goodness he can do the work. Hers is now fixed. Thank goodness he has a new truck so hopefully no repair work for a while on his.
The kids are loving school. They are all happy with thier classes. My youngest is going to a new school the other two went to a different middle school. HIs may be a little tougher but he can do it. Will have to stay on him. He is my clown and doesn't take things as serious as the other two. Nick is taking all honors so his plate is very full. He will do fine he is very determined and will not settle for anything less than his best. Taylor is taking all honors with an exception to English. She has always hated English so she wont' take honors (they have work to do in the summer and she won't do that) She is so excited that this is her last year in highschool. Has many more years ahead of her though....she is hoping to go into medicine. Not sure what field yet. Has always talked about being a plastic surgeon but now is thinking about dermatology. Her logic to that is no long hours or being on call. Hope she can do it.
Girl you are doing so good, you are almost to goal. Way to go......have you been to your appt yet? I know it is sometime in August. Let me know how it goes.
Well, Parker is hungry so I guess I should try to feed the kid....everyone else has eaten we had football practice and he didn't want to eat when we first got home.
Take care
Hugs,
Jodi
Jodi,
I am glad that your kids are doing so well. I read what you said about your daughter wanting to go into medicine. One of my sons is a dermatology resident and it is a long road. He is 29 years old and he won't be practicing until 7/1/07. But the job offers he's been getting have unbelievable salaries. It's worth all the long hours and studying. Good luck to you and your family!

You don't need to apologize for having a life. Everyone gets busy. Especially now that we're not toting around another person we are becoming much more active. I don't even get to read the board everyday now. I'm lucky if I get too twice a week. So you enjoy your life and pop in when you can.
Take care,
Tina
Girl, I am living life to the fullest. Busy with the kids and have gotten so active with my own agenda. I have gotten so involved with my towns politics am really lovin it. Never would have gotten up and spoke at the town council meetings in the past but since I am more confident with who I am, I am not afraid to get up in front of people.
Life is so good!!!!!
I don't know if I have said this in the past but I love your new picture....pretty lady!!!!
Hugs,
Jodi
Hey, Jodi! You're not the only one who doesn't get here as often anymore. Life has become one big race and before I know it my day is totally gone.
I have become much more involved in my personal goals of life. I've finished another novel that I am in the process of submitting to agents and publishers, dreaming of being a published author one day. Also, I feel my art is about to take off in a big way. I'm hoping to have my own art show this next year. Then there is my illustration work that I do for other authors! On top of all this, I've taken on the challenge of heading the publicity for Bayou Writers' Group Annual Fall Conference. Designing brochures, poster and contacting the local media. All exciting and fun but very time consuming!
But, the best news is there are no complaints from me! I'm enjoying life to the fullest and loving every minute of my new journey. I love to dress up in cute clothes and I've even lightened my hair and had highlights added. Never been a blonde before but I must admit it is fun!
Enjoy your life and stop in when you can! Hugs back to you!!!
Peggy B.
Hey Peggy,
It is so good to see you again. You look so different, I never would have recognized you, such a pretty, happy lady!!!!!
Girl you are busy. Congrats on the novels, I sure hope it gets published. Maybe one day I will be in Barnes and Noble and will pick up one of your books. I can then say I have corresponded with this author.....that sounds neat!!!! Sounds like you are enjoying life.
I am so glad you are doing well, I know you had a rough start but sounds like things are going well for you.
Take care of yourself and if you ever have a book published make a post on the board so we can all go out and support you....
Take care,
Jodi
