Anybody take Isopure?

My sister is having her surgery Monday(please pray for her everything goes well-she has 2 small children) and she needs to know where she can find Isopure around here.Also what kind of vitamins do ya'll recommend.She bought prenatal and iron tablets.Thanks Everyone!

I love my Isopure! You can get it at GNC. It isn't cheap - it is $52 for a jug that has 20 or so 8 oz. servings but it is worth it. I only drink about 4 oz. at a time. My doc said I needed 25-30 g of protein a day and that was NOT enough. Isopure has 50 g per serving and I feel much better - plus it keeps me full MUCH longer than slimfast. I like the chocolate - I mix up a shake with the chocolate mix, skim milk, a little coffee and a little reduced fat peanut butter and use my hand blender to mix it and it is awesome. It also comes in vanilla and fruit punch. As far as vitamins - I just have a chewable multivitamin with iron and a tums with calcium 2x a day. Good luck to your sister - I will pray for her!

You can buy Isopure at GNC. I cannot tolerate it, the flavor is just nasty. But everyone is different. I use GNC Pro Performance Whey Protein and Designer Whey. The DW is available at GNC also. Good luck to your sister!

Margaret, On Hwy 22 in Mandeville near the SAV A CENTER/WALGREENS shopping Center there is a store called The Nutrition Company and they have ISOPURE there -- I just bought some there this past week -- their cost compared to online is CHEAPER which is always good -- If you need better directions you can email me at [email protected] -- As far as vitamins I recommend VIACTIV -- they come in different flavors and its a WOMAN's multivitamin --- I HATE THE ORANGE LIQUID VITAMINS from GNC -- gross !!! Margaret, I hate the ISOPURE although the FRUIT PUNCH one isnt bad at all -- The ORANGE is nasty -- the GRAPE is nasty and the ALPINE punch isnt so bad at all!!!! Stephanie
