Hair loss
Hey Lin....
My loss started right around 3 months, i just made my six month mark on july 30th and it's finally starting to slow down. It was really upsetting, but I knew it was a side effect. I have to use creams to make my hair look thicker, its so thin right now. I heard hair loss doesn't happen to everyone...so count your blessings! I love my hair dresser too, she has been cutting my hair for years now and she knows how to keep my hair looking cute, thank goodness!
Mine started at about 6 months out. I had always had big thick hair. I looked like a cancer victim. However, at that time I had extremely low magnesium/potassium and a horrible skin infection.
My hair did come back, w only one thin spot .
Vitamins, baby vitamins, and PROTEIN. AND BIOTIN.
I made a point to drink 3 cups of Carb Count down a day for several months.
A small price to pay to lose 250 lbs

I started losing hair around four or five months out, and it has finally slowed down in the past few weeks, around 6 or 6.5 months I guess. It is pretty alarming to have fistfulls of hair every time you wash your hair or put anything in it. I guess because it was fairly thick it never looked abnormally thin, thank goodness. It's ironic because the surgery is meant to help our bodies get thinner, not our hair! I'm hoping mine is growing back in now that the loss has stopped -- but I think it will probably take a while for that to show.
