Vanessa, It is natural to be stressed. But you will be fine. After the surgery is over, you will be so happy that you made this decision. Good luck! Lynn J., lap RNY 9/29/04 -160 lbs.

Your emotions are so normal. I am such a worrier too. To add to my stress the Thursday before my daughter informed me that I had to take her to a cheerleading competition in Houston. She had been telling me she would find a ride and I kept asking her, she said she had it under control, when I asked to speak to the parent she was riding with she informed me she didn't have a ride. Talk about freaking out, that and the fact that Christmas was two weeks after my surgery and I had not bought the first gift. I had surgery three weeks before all of this so I do understand the stress. Guess what? It all worked out, we found her a ride (a parent that was more than willing to take her cause she had a conflict with another date that I was available for) my husband bought all of the Christmas gifts. I just got to be waited on and enjoy the ride. Everything will work out for you, but yes all that you are going through is so normal. Take care, Jodi

the night before surgery every one I talked to on the phone I cried with. I hugged my son and couldn't let go. You will do great and your life is about to start all over again. I think the crying is normal.
