SURGERY SOON

Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi I have been spending the past week getting my house and everything in order for after surgery. 8 days till surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really not that nervous yet, but I guess it will hit me a day or two before, but I am so ready and prepared for the journey... Vanessa

Nervous is the night prior to surgery, knowing that it's the last night of your life as you know it. New life to begin soon.....I'm excited for you.

You sound ready but yeah the night before it's when nerves kick in! It's the best thing I've every done for myself or my family. I took my last diabetes and hypertension medicine before my surgery and haven't looked back. Good luck! 254/160/1??

Hi Vanessa, I really didn't think I was nervous but my stomach told me otherwise. Boy was it torn up. It really hit me the day I signed all the pre-op paper work. Stay positive and follow your surgeons protocol and you will do fine. Hugs, Jodi

Time is going to fly by and your day will be here before you know it. It's all uphill from here. Just remember to listen to your surgeon's protocol and walk, walk, and walk some more!
