I think that it is a good day ! If it is the one u feel good about than go with .Just cause something happened awhile back doesn't mean we let those kind of people run r life !We show them that what they did is not goiing to stop us from going on with are normal life .So in my eyes make that day stand for something good and great for u ,it will be a beginning of a new u!!!!!!!!!
Karen, That day will be great, because you will be able to change the meaning of that date to a really special date for you and your family. It will be a new beginning for you. I don't see it as the day of that incident. I see it as the day that my son and his "then" future wife started seeing each other. That day made it possible to add a wonderful young lady to my family, and she has been a joy to me for the last 3 years that they have been married. So don't see a date on the calendar as a bad thing. See it as your new birthday. That is what I consider 9/27/04. It is my birthday and so is today--weeeee I am 49 today and I think that if I couldn't celebrate 9/27/04 as a special day in my life then my family may have been laying flowers on a grave today instead of calling me on my cell and doing nice things for me and so on and so forth. So nurse that son of yours and that way when you have your surgery, you will have your very own male nurse. Don't worry and be nervous, be confident that you are making the best decision of your life. Debbie
