Finally at the Century Mark!!!
Hey everyone........
I haven't posted in a while. I've been working so much lately and on the weekends I've been at my moms sun bathing (swimming).
I'm now five and half months post op and am still doing good! Although I do wish that I could have lost more by now. I havent exercised in almost two months though. After my car accident on May 21st, I stopped exercising. Haven't picked back on it yet. I'm sure if I was exercising I'd be losing more. But I am still happy with my loss so far!!!
I finally reached 100 lbs lost, actually 101, LOL!!!
I still want to be at my goal for Christmas!!! I'm more than sure I will make it!!!
I am really not liking what my arms and belly is looking like....it's gross....
I have a couple of questions..... first is about my hair.....it's still falling out, every day, my hair is now soooooo thin!!! How long did you continue to lose hair? Yes, I'm still drinking my protein and taking all of my vitamins!!
Next question is...... I don't want to go under 170....I know some of you may think, holy cow, that is still big, well yea, to some it may be!!! But that is just my personal preference, don't want to be under a size 12 either! I seriously do want to have a tummy tuck and my arms done like next summer (HOPEFULLY). I've heard that could take off about 20 pounds. So, here is the question, since I don't want to go below 170, should I try to stop losing around 180-190??? Need your opinions or knowledge!!!
Last question is.....century card, how do I get that on my profile?
I hope everyone is doing good, oh and welcome all of you new comers and welcome to the losing side!!!!

ps....will be posting some new pics soon!
Christie,
Hey I wa wondering where you were and how you were doing.
I am so gald you hit the 100 pound mark. you know swimmming is exercise.
if 170 is your goal weight then that is great. mine is 135 I still have 10pounds to go I was hoping to be there for my one year but that will not happen My weight loss has pretty much stopped I have maintained the same weighr for 3 months now.
My hair did not stop falling out until I hit like 9 months out. I t got really thin too but now I see new growth to it.
I am not really sure how to really "stop " the weight loss expect to increase your calorie intake some.
Well take care,
Chrissy
Hey Chrissy!!!
I went to get my hair cut yesterday and the beautician did say that she see's some new growth coming, so that was a ray of hope! I have to keep cutting it though because I can't do much with it.
Girl, I couldn't imagine doing more of a calorie intake! I kinda figured that is what I'd have to do, that is what my dietician had told me. I'm still not eating much at all! My main focus is still protein and fluids!
You may be wondering where Kelli Smith is, she was on the board for a while and I know you had talked with her a bit, she moved to Kansas. She isn't having much luck there either with getting the surgery. But I did talk to her about a week ago and she said to tell you hi next time I talked with you. She is right about 700 pounds and with her being that size, it's hard to find a facility to do the surgery for her. But she hasn't given up hope yet.
You take care and you looking good!!!!!
Hi Christie,
I'm so happy to see how well you are doing. This isn't Oz, but dreams are still coming true and it makes me smile.
We have a lot of OHLA members in Denham and I truly hope you can join us for a meeting soon so you can meet your "skinny" neighbors and show off your bod and great attitude.
Please send an email to Amy Williams at OH about getting your century card.
We are so proud of you!
