Really excited about Thursday's meeting

No, I won't be there, but it's been really fun watching the excitement build and seeing you all gather to support each other. Can somebody take pictures, I wanna see all this love and support! Anyone in New Orleans, Hammond, Metaire, Kenner, Covington, Slidell, etc., take a look at the post below about a meeting on Thursday: http://obesityhelp.com/forums/LA/postdetail/10182.html?vc=0 In the metro Baton Rouge area, the New U support group meets this Thursday at Oak Lodge off Sherwood and we are trying to form "exercise buddy dates" through OHLA because we didn't have enough people for the BREC classes. If you might be interested in an OHLA exercise class in the fall, please shoot me an email. The next OHLA support group meeting with be July 27. I'm trying to hook-up with Lin in Lafayette on Tuesday August 1. Anyone in Lafayette, Eunice, Sunset, Breaux Bridge, etc., wanna join us? There's power in our special support and fellowship. Hey Frances, I live and work about 30-45 mins from Lafayette and would love to meet with y'all if I can make the time y'all pick. Hi Anne, I like the new picture Looks like we will have a nice little meet-up. I'm going to get off early the day of Aug. 1 and we will either meeting right before dinner or maybe have dinner and talk. I see from your profile you are a photographer. I love snapping myself. Hi, Frances! I'm so sorry you won't be joining us, but I hope you can make it the next time we decide to get together. Just rambling and thinking out loud here, but I'm wondering if we should really be calling this a "meeting," since we probably don't want to promote it as a bona fide support group -- at least not just yet. I mean, we're not a recognized entity and we have no agenda, so really we'll be just be a bunch of ladies meeting up for coffee. Oops, I just said "meeting!" But you get the idea, which actually sounds good to me, as this really doesn't have to be formal. Any thoughts? Regardless of the technicalities, I still agree that it's very exciting, and I can't wait for tomorrow evening!
