Stephanie, You can do it! Just remember what you are doing it for. Like I'm a good one to talk. All I can say is do your best. I know it is hard. You know I messed up a few times but in the end it worked out, I still lost 20 pounds on the pre op liq diet. You only have six days left to go. I'm here for you, you are going to do great. Darla

Stephanie, Can you make your shakes with ice in a blender. I know it isn't much but it is something. I do feel what you are going through. I kept telling myself that I chose this road and now I had to go down it. Don't blow it girl!!!! Chew gum, chew ice, get up and do something when it gets to be too much. Is your doc letting you have sugar free jello, what about sugar free popsicles, what about a sugar free snowball. Just be sure not to get the chocolate sugar free. It does have some sugar in it. I know that it is not easy. Don't give up!!!! All docs are different, but mine told me that if I absolutely had to have something I could have a 300 calorie lean cuisine, but not 5 days before, because he didn't want any solids in the intestines. I made it through and I believe in you!! Try the popsicles and snowballs, they are good and the protein shake in the blender with ice, will fill you for a little while. Chewing ice or sugar free gum will help with the need to chew. Debbie

Bless your heart!! We have "all" been there... You can do it. Just keep those Protein levels REALLY high. That really kept me from being sooooooo hungry. Also, walk around with a bottle of water in your hands at all times!! You will NOT regret doing this pre-op as you have NO CHOICE post-op! It does help, although you will NOT be nearly as hungry post-op as you are now. Hang in there. It's worth it all in the end. Hugs, Pam
