Vomitting/Nausea Question

I am four weeks out from surgery. I am on the all liquid diet. It seems no matter how slow I eat/drink I end up feeling sick to my stomach about half the time. It doesn't matter which liquid either. I vomit about once a day. This is relatively new -- within the past week I'd say. I know sometimes I've eaten a bit fast, but earlier I had 2 oz of soup and I took an hour to eat it. It all wanted to come right back up. Is this something that is common? I have my six week check up in a week, but I wonder if it's worthing calling Dr. Barnes' office before then?

What kinda of soup are you eating? Some of them are kinda high in fat and that will make you sick, just like sugar does. My dietician says no more than five grams of fat and no more that six grams of sugar. I would call and see what they say. They will tell you if you need to come in early or not.

i felt like that around that time as well. It did pass. I don't know what was causing it, as I do watch my fat and carbs very closely. I would call the doc, it sure can't hurt anything. Just for peace of mind, if nothing else. Cindee
