OHLA this coming week!

Hello Bayou Buddies I think I've done an absolutely horrible job with pre-meeting communications and I'm so sorry. I will be trying to do better, but my laptop processor died and my mailing list to send individual emails is unavailable. We will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the BREC park facility at Independence Park in Baton Rouge. If you need a map and directions, please email me with your email address because OH has disabled our abilities to return an email directly to member's home emails. (geez, ya think I'm cursed or something?) We will be discussing plans for a July start of an exercise class for bariatric patients and overweight people. Dorothy Hebert will also bring us information about a study in the Louisiana legislature to mandate greater coverage of bariatric procedures by insurance companies. Support and resources for our members are always our No. 1 priority. I need your encouragement and advice in my weight loss journey and I know we can all learn from each other. If you have a specific need that I can present at the meeting, please email or call me prior to the meeting and I will do my best to facilitate. Frances.....I have been meaning to attend the meetings for some time now, but have not made it happen. I will miss this month also because my Lap RNY is Wednesday at Oschners in New Orleans with Dr. Richardson. I will be at next months. I want to finally meet all of you that I have been following for some time now. Thanks for all you do to help everyone. You are such a blessing for so many people. Keep me in your prayers and I will see you next month.

I'd love to join, but BR is kind of far for me, especially since I'd be going straight there from work in Biloxi! Is there (or was there, before Katrina) a NO area or Northshore OH group? It sure would be great to meet some of you face-to-face. Aw, heck, maybe I ought to just haul my big booty over to BR!

You and Diane are thinking in the same vein. I'm working on branching this puppy out ... but please, don't haul your beautiful booty over here ... my husband likes BBWs and I can't take the competition. Frances
