looking for surgeons

Hello louisiana. Can someone help me find a doctor in la that does the vertical sleeve gastreotomy. i live in France and my daughter lives in abbeville,la and she want to have the same surgery in la. thank you very much. Helen(across the waters)FRANCE

She may want to contact Dr. Ordoyne in Covington. I don't know that he does this procedure. HOwever, he is an oncology surgeon and so he has experience with lots of procedures and he may be familiar enough with it to do it.

My surgeon was Dr. Keith Kreitz. He is partner with Dr. Richard Shimer. An excellent doctor! Very knowledgeable with WLS and a people person. I had complications after my first surgery and he basically held my hand through everything. Now I'm looking at a hernia operation and he's the one I've chosen to repair that. A great plus is both surgeions are in the operating room with you during your WLS procedure. Anyhow, enough rattling...his number is (337) 478-2327. Peggy B.
