I'm going nuts!

Hi all! I have attended my seminar and have an appointment with my surgeon on July 5. I am going nuts waiting! My insurance people say that this surgery is covered and all I need is for the doc to call and get pre-authorization, sooo, I think I will go crazy if July 5th doesn't get here fast! I just don't know what to do with myself in the meantime! Is anyone else experiencing this?

The time will fly by. In the mean time, work on cutting back on soda, if that is an issue for you, and start walking, start slow and work up to 30 min per day. This will impress your surgeon!! Good luck... Cindee

Thanks for the advice. I do love to drink Coke and Dr. Pepper, I think I'm going to try cutting back to 1 a day. My husband bought me a gazelle, I am going to start using it today! I'm so anxious, I even called today and asked if they have had a cancellation so I could get an earlier appt! lol

I guess we've "all" been there at one time or another. But, I assure you that July 5th will be here before you know it. Cutting back on soda and walking were great suggestions. Anything that you can do to start "preparing" for what is to come. Start drinking as much water as you can. That will help with everything!! But, you will be a "loser" before long. Hugs, Pam

Thank you ! I drink too much soda now, since I'm going to cut down to drinking only 1 a day, I guess I'll have to start drinking lots of water! I am soo anxious to become a 'loser'!!!

The have relockated to Mandeville and are moving into their new house this weekend. I hope everything has worked out for you and your family. I'm glad that I am not the only one going nuts waiting for this surgery! Hopefully the time will pass quickly for us both.
