GIVEN A DATE!!

After the disappointment a year ago from blue cross telling me they wouldn't cover my surgery....We're paying out of pocket & I've found a great surgeon,,..... Dr philip gachassin, at lafayette general....My surgery is set for July 17th....Please keep me in your prayers that I'm complication free.....Thats my only worry since insurance isn't paying......I have total trust in my Dr. & the post op program at lafayette general is great....Can't wait to start losing!!

Karen I will keep you in my prayers for a complication free surgery...I too will be self-pay, so I know the worries you have other possible expenses, so I completely understand!!! Just think about the positives, and how wonderful it will be to be heatlthy and able to do thing that most normal size people take for granted.. When I'm venting about my worries, family just tell me that it's the best money and investment that I could ever spend...We are worth the investment!!! I will have a date once I visit my Dr on Monday, so hopefully my surgery will not be too far behind yours.. Good Luck!!! Vanessa
