DENIED BY MEDICAID!

Well my louisianians, medicaid has denied my claim. Im confused and dont know what to do. I have these health problems, and its not getting through to them. I have documentation of everything. Im upset and feel like my world has come down on me. So I guess I will have to try again with an appeal. So keep me in your"prayers. Take care. Out of lurking mood arisingstar

Whatever you do, don't give up! You can call them directly, the number is on your denial letter. Make sure they have documentation of everything. When I called them, they did not have the results of my sleep test showing I had sleep apnea. I followed up on it and made sure it got faxed to them and was approved. So don't take for granted that everything has reached them. Did it give as reason for denial that you needed more comorbidities? If so talk to your PCP and get their help. This is only a speed bump, not the end of the journey! Good luck! Patricia

Just keep fighting and it will happen. Took me 4 years and it finally happened. You will have your surgery...this is just a bump in the road!
