hi guys, well, i started exercising now faithful for 3 weeks now, and losing about a pound a week, boy is that frustrating, i walk or ride a bike at least 3miles a day, 5 days a week, and eating the same, i was hoping to lose more than a pound a week, if anybody has some in put please reply,, yes, im doing protien,water etc... nothing fating, maybe im expecting to much, .... rhonda 293/195/135-130? my surgery was 11/16/05

Just keep exercising it will start to come off faster. I only lose between 8 and 10 pounds a month now. It does start to slow down. Are you eating bread? That is a starch and it turns to fat. I don't eat hardly any bread at all. A piece of toast every once in awhile is it for me. The main thing I eat is meat, I don't even eat many vegetables. What are you drinking besides protein? I only drink water not even diet things jus****er. Also you may not be getting enough calories in your diet. I know that sounds odd but when I stall I up my calories and the weight starts to come off again. If your body is not getting enough calories it will try to hold on to what it has. So if your eating right then try upping your calories some and see if that helps. Hope this is helpful in some way. If you want call me and we can discuss it further. Tina 336/199/145

Rhonda, Hey girl I too have stalled somewhat. I too have increased my protein and water. I have not lost anything in about 3 months but I have not gained it either I really only have 10-15 pounds to go to get to my goal of 135 130 I too have been walking alot and tring to exersice as much as I can I know I am almost 10 months out and I am way past my honeymoon stage. I am thinking of calling Chirs at Dr Lavin's office to see what I can do. I'll let you know what she tells me. Take care, Chrissy

The train has slowed for me too....I have noticed when I eat a bit more I lose more. I think for awhile I just was not getting in enough calories. I have to remind myself to eat. I have been writing everything down and really watching it and I have dropped since doing that. Funny I have to eat more to lose weight, never in my wildest dreams. I have only lost like 5 lbs in the last month but my jeans look to big. I have had people telling me this past week they can tell I have lost more. Haven't but I'll take the compliments.
