I'm still on the sugar-free, clear broth diet. I'm so sick of beef and chicken. I did get some miso soup from the Japanese restaurant which has been FABULOUS; but I have four more days. I've noticed after a day or two I start wanting a different flavor. Anyone have any suggestion?

You can make any kind of clear broth you want. Just strain it before you drink. I used chicken broth, then boiled some veggies in it. Just enough to add some flavor. Then I strained it and drank the broth. Put some garlic, cayenne, etc. just strain. The flavor stays! My family likes spaghetti made out of Ramen noodles. So I would open the package, take out the flavor pouch. I saved the noodles in a ziplock and made my broth out of the contents of the pouch. It is very good. That way you can get pork, spicy chicken, shrimp..... all the flavors. Happy sipping! Patricia

You should be able to do egg drop soup, at least the broth part. I can't find my recipie for it. if you post about it someone should have it.

I found any canned soup, with clear broth got me through that phase. I'd just strain out any "solid" pieces.............but this part passes quickly. Cream phase was wonderful....for a week, LOL.........then you run into the same problem (boredom), but time flies by and soon you'll be eating most anything you want.........just smaller amounts. Good luck Kendra
