Three Months

I went today for my 3 month (well a little longer) check up. I had a couple of surprises. Number 1: I actually weighed 258 on the day of my surgery. How did I not know that?? Today I weighed 198, so I have lost 60 lbs. Number 2: I have LOW blood pressure. It was 90/50 the last time I went to my PCP and today, after a stressful 3 hour drive, it was 110/60. I have not taken medication since three weeks after my surgery. Dr O was very pleased with my loss. I complained that I thought I was losing too slowly, but he said for my age and starting weight, I am doing fantastic. He wants me to shoot for 150, so I only have 48 lbs to go. SO I guess.... if he's happy, I'm happy. I don't know if I'll be content with 150, I'll see when I get there.

I LOVE not having to take meds. I went from taking 9 to just 1 at night for my RLS. I SO do not miss them! Patricia

You're doing great just realize we all have the little stalls that seem to last forever and the weight loss is NEVER fast enough for us either!!! My doctor never gave me a goal but 150 is kinda "my" high end goal but lower is better to me! I think I will be happy at 150 b/c at 168 (my scale) I'm beginning to fit in size 12s. It's funny my scale seems to stay at 168 but I've gone from 16s to 12s without the scale moving down, go figure. I guess my weight is "redistributing" or something LOL Anne 254/168/1??
