Found Louisiana fill doctor

Thanks to all those who suggested doctors in Louisiana for fills when we had the surgery in Mexico. My hubsand and I went to W.Monroe to Dr. Linda Bunch yesterday. We had an appointment for 11:45 (after a four hour drive) and silly me, I thought that meant we would see the doctor at or around 11:45. She had eight people scheduled for fills at the same time and she was tied up with a previous patient. We waited an hour but was first in the fill group since we had been there longest. I have to admit I was surprised because we thought I had no restricton and my husband had good restriction. She used the fluroscope and I wound up with .5 cc's and my husband with 1.1 cc's. (we both have the large band and had 4 cc's in at surgery) My port had shifted a little to the right and she had to stick me three times to be sure she had the front. One slid to the back, one hit the rim and the third was the magic charm. She had to give me two different lanocaine shots because she had to kind of come in at an angle from what she thought initially. The great thing - she explained everything she was doing, why she was doing it and what the result should be. My husband, of course, one shot and he was done. Oh, well. It is a long drive for us but beats the 5 hour plane ride to Mexico, plus cost of ticket. Next time I do not plan to wait as long before I get another fill. It took a while to find a doctor and get the appointment so we were 9 1/2 weeks post surgery for the first fill. We had lost 15 pounds each the first month and then stayed stuck for the next month and a half. I am looking forward to the scale going down now and in the future. I love this message board. I have learned so much more from reading posts than the doctors ever told me.

Hi, there.......I came to the LA board tonight even tho I'm from texas to ask if anyone could give me name of LA docs that will do fills for Mex.surgeries.......and there was your post. I have written down your Dr. Bunch's name already but are there others you know of?
