Although you know this decision isn't something to take lightly you need to educate yourself the best way you can. Read Read Read, ask lots of questions and determine the best choice for you.
This is a great board and we are always willing to help. Ask away!
Good luck to you and your family.

This forum has been kinda boring so I thought I would spice it up a bit!!!

I will try to do better tomorrow.

I had RNY 8/07 and have lost almost 150 lbs. I still have a ways to go till I make goal (according to Dr. Shina) so I am plugging along daily. I try to work daily to make good choices. I love to work out but since I took on the part time job it has been increasingly difficult to find time. This was the best possible choice for me and my family. Everyone asks if I have more energy now and for me it isn't different. I was always very active before so it seems to be the same.
I have made some good friends on this board. Everyone is very supportive and I have had nothing but good experiences. I hope that everyone can find the support that I have found.

I am sorry to hear about your family's loss. It is always tough losing someone you love or have loved. You all are in our prayers always. If you need anything please let us know.

I work 2 jobs so it has been difficult for me to find the time. My kids take swim lessons there now T/Th 7-745 so I have been working out then as well.
We could definitely go on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
Email me (dannyell.nolan@ky.gov) and just let me know when you wanna meet. I love to work out but it is more fun with a buddy.

When do you work out? Maybe we could figure out times we could go together. Let me know.

My prenatals that I take have the iron that I need. Maybe Dr. Shina would approve something like this for you as well. You may want to call the office and just ask them.
Sorry.

Okay girls, I booked my room today. My husband is going with me and another couple. We are going to go from Thursday and leave on Sunday so we can hang around the city for a few days. We will be kid-free !!!!!
As I am the only one going to the convention can I hang with you gals that are going on Saturday. I don't want to have to be by myself throughout the days activities. Does that sound lame??
Anyway, just wanted to know if I could tag around with you guys?

I can't really help. For me it has always been just trial and error. I didn't eat anything with sugar for probably about 6 months or so then I just started trying stuff. Now when I eat something with too much sugar I don't throw up but I get extremely, extremely sleepy and just have to sleep it off. It's weird.
Hope someone else can give you more help.

Directly on Broadway there are many fast food restaurants such as Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Indi's, Subway, Quizno's.
Downtown can be busy but if you just stay directly on Broadway (if your unfamiliar how to navigate the side streets) you should be fine.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I love you guys!!!

Debbie,
don't worry about it. We both are super busy. As long as we check in we are good. Keep up the good work!!!

2 small boxes of instant sugar free pudding
** I use French vanilla or vanilla (if I use vanilla then I add a splash of pure vanilla extract
3 cups milk (I use skim)
1 box of low-fat cinnamon graham crackers (you can use regular but I like the flavor that these add)
12 oz sugar free cool whip
1 can of reduced sugar chocolate frosting
Mix together pudding and mil****il thick. Fold in cool whip. In a pan put down graham crackers then top with pudding. Keep making layers until you get to the top. Put the frosting in the microwave for about 20 seconds and spread a little bit on the top layer of graham crackers.
NOTE: For a pan the size I made last night you would double this recipe.
HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS THIS RECIPE. MY FAMILY LOVES IT!!!

Hey Deb,
Facebook can be a little addicting but it is good to see what people are up to. O am glad you are finally home and can relax and concentrate. Missed you at the get together. Hope to talk to you soon.

I just want to say that I had a great time last night. Thanks Becca and Rich for letting us all crash your nice house and being so welcoming. It was really good to meet everyone in person. I can't wait for the next get together. My kids had fun and of course Butch loved all of Rich's man toys. Thanks.

Okay I admit I haven't done well on my challenge. My goal was to exercise 4 days a week and I haven't had much success. I am getting really frustrated because I work 2 jobs and barely have time to do anything anymore. Anyway, this is a new week so I am going to try to do better. Wish me luck!!!

I am Dannyell Werner Nolan if anyone wants to be my friend. AWWW. I am begging for friends.
