Topic: Hello Ready To Move It.
Well for the first time in a year..I feel like I can loose the weight I have gained after my RNY.I have gained 50 lbs..am disabled had hip replacent in august 2010 and gained weight..I have appt with my surgeon and going to see what my possibilities are..as far as revision..not sure yet which one I want to do if my ins..will pay..I need to get this weight off so bad, My knees are killing me,my hips even my new hip is killing me..theis extra weight is holding me back..I was so skinny after I had my surgery in 2004..lost 100 in 6 months or less..kept it off really well for 3 years then when my hips started hurting so bad I couldnt walk very well..I got depressed and well guess I just ate way too much..and not moving around much was a double whammy..well I am sick of it..I want this weight off and I want to feel good by the time me and hubby go on vacation this summer..I will do it..I will..

Signing in early today.  By 8:30 a.m., I had already had my quiet time, Bible study time, & floor exercise time!  (I guess that's to make up for yesterday when I had little energy & didn't get out the house at all.)
Weds. B. 1 egg, 1oz. mild cheddar cheese & 1/2 piece Wh Wheat Toast (surprise)
L.  1/2 banana w. 1TBS peanut butter, about 3 oz. chicken noodle soup
D. 1/2 c. potato soup w. shredded cheddar cheese
Somewhere in the day, 4 c. hot tea, about 8 oz. tap water, 1 40 cal. fudgesicle

Just finished about 3 oz. oatmeal w. brown sugar (less than 1 Tbsp.) and getting ready to go out the door, walk at the mall & stop by grocery.  ( I figure I'll be ready for a nap around 2:00 p.m.) Get to watch the granddaughters after school for about 3 hours-WOO-HOO!)

Since I switched to high protein to get quick weight loss before vacation things have been going well.  I weigh once a week on Friday mornings.  Prayn 4 postive results. Did  for 30 minutes but feel I need to get on treadmill too.  How r u doin w/water, diet and exercise?

A friend gave me the DVD for Zumba and another woman in the congregation gave me hip hop abs. I have purchased exercis DVD's in forever.  They are very expensive for my taste.  Now the trick or the prize is to use them.

 Count me in as a Zumba fan! Now that I am somewhat back to normal, flu, a thing of the past, I am trying to get in my daily exercise.  I discovered some Zumba videos on Youtube and am really enjoying them.  Talk about getting your heartrate up!
Yesterday- B. 1 egg over light (lovin' my Eggland's Best eggs) 1 0z. cheese & 1/2 piece Whole Wheat bread, L. pnut butter & 1/2 grahm cracker, D. a little green salad, 2 oz. baked potato, Buckhead's turkey chili, again about 2 oz.  fudge bar in front of tv (40 cal.)
Early morning,went to gym, swam & swam 40 min. after 20 minutes on treadmill.

I <3 Zumba!! I started going to the Zumba class on post and thought I would hate it.  Funny thing, I might be completely out of step - even after 2 weeks - but I still love it!!  I really would like to get the Zumba for Wii because my class is a bit packed.  I worry though, will I do it at home (insert random excuse) or do it with enough motivation (couch Zumba doesn't count!) LOL!!

Yesterday was snowy but not too cold, today, may be icy.  So take extra care not only in your diet but in navigating through the roads and highways.
Vitamins, Water, Exercise are priorities.  Protein first is a given.

I too have been in the process of getting my surgery for a long time. So, now that it is finally appraoching ..It doesnt seem real...But I know Wednesday will be here before I know it..and Friday will be for you...So Keep us updated on how things go!
