2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

I would highly recommend that you attend a seminar or better yet attend a support group. I have not had surgery yet but have done my research and Dr.Oldham is really good, and sometimes he is at the support groups to answer any questions anyone may have.He does alot of the newer procedures so you have have to consult with him on your needs.Theres one coming up at Baptisteast hospital @6pm on dec.20th if your interested.I hope it works well for you!If you have anymore questions feel free to contact me.
I had a VSG performed back in 2008 and have since gained back a majority of the weight. I want to begin the process of getting a revision, but really do not know where to start. Was hoping someone has already gone through this experience and could also suggest a local surgeon in Louisville. Thanks

My biggest worry is the lack of support from my family physician's office. My family doctor is very supportive of me, but his staff seems to suck! I tried to ask them what to do for my meds (HBP, Diabetes T2) after surgery. All i got from them was, Ask you surgeon. The surgeons office said ask the prescribing physician! On top of that, I asked them yesterday (emailed on Thursday last week) and by the time they got to it today, the doctor is out!
Sorry if I'm going on a rant here that's off topic. I'm just a little nervous and wanted to get things off my chest.
Thanks,
Rob
