Topic: Considering weight loss surgery? PLEASE read.
Perhaps you have already read my note, "Back home after accident".  If this accident had happened 3 years ago, before WLS, it would have been so much harder on me, EMS workers, hospital staff, etc.  Weight loss & good health are so important.  You NEVER know when something could happen to you & you need to hop around on a walker after being in bed for several days.  Not to mention upper body strenghth, and a positive attitude.  Thanks to Dr. Allen & Norton Bariatrics, I have lost well over 60 pound in the last 3 years & I KNOW that it made a big difference in the outcome of this situation.  WLS surgery may nbot be for everyone, but it was the only way left I knew to get back under 200 pounds and nearly 28 years of neglecting by health. If you've already had surgery, go to the next level:  Get in that exercise routine & do it NOW.  Take care of yourself- someone & probably MANY someones are counting on you being around.
Have a great day, Kentuckiana.  It sure is beautiful out there.  So thankful I can enjoy it  from inside & thankful for God's grace that has brought me safe thus far!

Topic: Back home after accident
For the few of those who frequent this forum, you may have wondered, what has happened to Jeanie B. ???!  I'm back!  I'll try to give the short version: Last Thursday morning, one week ago today, my car wa**** by a little white truck.  I recall hearing a rumbling sound, my car being hit and dragged & the feeling that I had NO control of the situation.  Moments later, I wondered what what my head doing on an air bag & what was going on.  My angels had guided by car to rest in some shrubbery, just missing a brick wall by less than a foot.  Taken to University Hospital after being examined at Norton Suburban because they were concerned about internal injuries, I was at University for 6 days, had 2 surgeries on my right foot, & got back home last night.  My precious husband, 1 of our booys & his sweetheart got  me up the steps & I spent night on the couch, so thankful to be home.  I will write more later, and will hopefully be tap dancing by the end of April.  Of course, I never could tap dance before, but after witnessing what I have seen in the last week, I believe anything is possible!  Please read one more message from me.  Thanks!

Getting anxious.  Tomorrow is not only weigh day but it is travel day for me.  I plan to log in my weight, post and get the mindset to enjoy the cruise but remain conscious of what I eat.
Hope all continue their plan and work with their tool of choice.

Showing signs of improvement? Yes, yes, yes me too. Continuing to follow the basic rules of water, exercise, planning and journaling. Protein first is a must for me. Does that keep you from over eating too?
Did my early morning workout, 30 minutes and this is what I ate yesterday. I'm telling you mind, will you tell yours?
