I have tracked my food on fitday.com since weightloss surgery.  Many others use daily plate and say it is easier.  I have personally loaded all the foods that I eat, it did not have them.  Its old had now.  I track weightloss, mood, activities and the like.  Try it you may like it or try some of the others.  Wishing you the best.
Take care,
Z

Topic: Centennial (Nashville) is now accepting new Medicare patients for bariatric surgery
Centennial Center for the Treatment of Obesity is now accepting new Medicare patients for bariatric surgery.

Medicare guidelines for weight loss surgery have changed, making it easier to qualify.
If your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or greater and you have a qualifying health condition such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, etc., you may qualify under Medicare. Click here to check your BMI.   To insure you meet Medicare guidelines, we will need the following information; 1.     Medical records from your doctor documenting your weight and health issues for the last two years.  We will request this for you. 2.     Recent lab work from your doctor showing you do not have an endocrine problem such as thyroid disease. We will request this for you. 3.     Letter of Support from your doctor, stating they feel weight loss surgery will help you. We will request this for you. 4.     A psychological evaluation. To attend a free informational seminar to learn more, please call (615) 342-1919. To begin the process prior to attending a seminar, please click here to complete our health questionnaire. Final clearance for surgery will be determined at the surgeon consultation.   Thank you,
Pam Davis, Certified Bariatric Nurse, Bariatric Program Director

Yayyy!!!! CONGRATS!!!!

I have never had surgery at Baptist East, but I have never heard anything bad about the hospital. My step-daughter had her baby there. The rooms were big and spacious. There is a hotel called Breckinridge Inn down the street. I stayed there over 20 yrs ago and it was nice then.  It has a indoor and outdoor pools and farely big rooms. Check it out.

CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!
 Lynn
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time...

Just curious, are you copying and pasting this from somewhere else?  I need to learn to track my food but don't have a program to use.

Thanks in advance :)

Topic: Approved... finally!!
I have been going through my WLS journey for years on and off.  I am so happy that Anthem BCBS approved me and now I can move toward my goals!! Now I wait for my surgery appointment... tick tock...

Anyone had surgery at Baptist East in Louisville?  Are there any decent, family friendly hotels near the hospital?  I would like my family to be close while I am there.

Thanks!
