Kentucky, Hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Now you are ready to improve on your already successful plan or you have learned from past mistakes and plan to improve starting today.  First step is to drink your water and other hydrating liquids.  Eat protein first and don't forget vegetables and fruit.  Fiber is good too.  And the dirty deed to some of us, Exercise.  It is so beneficial to losing.  Additionally, we must beware of the foods that trigger unhealthy eating.  Those foods are unique to each individual.  But we all know these things.  Just a friendly reminder.

 If I had not eaten that lemon pie.  Oh but it tasted so good and I have another piece in the fridge.  Otherwise my Saturday was great.  I did not make the pie but should have just said NO.  Got up this morning and did my best on a 20 minute pilati dvd and 10 min on hip hop abs cardio.  Hope your Saturday went well.  Here's what I ate along with taking my vitamins.  What about you?

B. 1/2 c. Cheerios with strawberries (good beginning) decaf coffee
L. Oriental House Chinese buffet- hot & sour soup, shrimp & veggies, only 1 crab rangoon, the bes****ermelon of the summer
D. Protein shake, vanilla with strawberries & 1/3 bananna

Had another session of water therapy- marvelous.  The least pain today that I think I've had since my broken ankle ordeal. Happy Week-end to All!

Ooops... Got busy and did not exercise yesterday. As always, worked in the garden and flower beds. I am doing well with my basics. I have ordered several protein snacks to aid with my weightloss success. Also trying to inculcate good eating habits with regular foods. My biggest hurdle is eating out. I remember that in my first year we did not eat out much and I was afraid. Now that the fear is gone, the love of a smaller me needs to kick in. Anyway that's my take on the matter. Glad u r back Jeanie.  Its always good when you come home and fine friends and family are still there.  What's twenty pounds between friends.  We gain some pounds but we lose even more.  Life is good, we are going to enjoy it getting back on track and dealing with all lifes situations as best we can.  Best part is that we are alive to deal with things.  The scale can be discouraging today but on other days we post what the scale said to people we don't know.  Ain't life grand.

Greetings, Z, Dawn & whoever else may be reading this.  Well, it's been awhile since I've been on board.  Z, you are one of the most faithful people I know. Dawn,  good to see you checking in.  I went to water therapy today & can't wait to go again this Friday.  Then it's Mon. & Weds. the rest of the summer.  It's now official- a 20 pound gain since Feb. 24.  Today, has been a great day and the beginning of getting back to a new normal, but the scale this morning was extremely discouraging.  That's ok.  As Scarlett said in GWTW, "Tomorrow is another day"  and for that I am thankful and hopeful.  I plan to post today's menu tomorrow.  Meanwhile, my friends, take nothing or anyone for granted.  Count your blessings & consider the challenges of life merely learning experiences that are only temporary- if we let them.
