I am sure ur source is right.  Hope u can follow Sonnastine too.  Glad u are doing so well with new surgery and doctor.

I had not been going because of numerous things.  However I am hoping that Oldham really cares.  They did say he looked at my upper GI and made the recommendations to unfill me first before another more expense procedure.  For that I am very appreciative.  I really don't know him well anyway.  I did not see him come in operating room, only times I've seen him was at office exam when I first met him, then day of surgery and after the surgery was completed.  Probably wouldn't recognize him except that he was blond headed.  Since I agreed to the terms, can't complain now.  I just want to be taken care and get back on the losing track.

Take care of yourself and keep in touch.

To be unfilled that is not too bad.  Fat is a little high for BBSA, carbs a tad high but not that bad, by their rules.  I heard that BBSA is going back to G-town, now that Dr. Sonnanstine is leaving and that Dr. Weiss is going to be the director again.  Don't know how true it is but my source is pretty accurate.  I hope to be able to follow Dr. Sonnanstine to Columbus, if not I guess I will just let my PCP follow up with my vitamin levels.  Since he is leaving I am really glad that I don't have the band anymore.  I still say that Weiss and Oldham are great surgeons I just don't care for the way they do a few things.

I am now at the lowest weight I have been since 1988 and I feel so much better.  Still have a long way to go but I think I will get there it will just be slow as Christmas doing so.

I'm carrying enough gas to drive for miles.  Omeprezole, tums and bromelin are definitely on the menu.  Got up 3:30 this morning with belly ache.  Otherwise all is ok.  Taking vitamins and exercising.  I will survive.  Then what did I crave, black beans?    So here's my menu for today.

Topic: RE: Why am I here?
I am feeling better about the whole thing. Everyone was very nice and informative and I learned alot. But now it has turned discouraging.

The nurse that got our information together and talked to use while we were waiting for the surgeon kept telling how hard it is to get approved with my insurance and they are real "sticklers". She said that word so many times i never want to hear it again! Then asked what the other two individuals insurance was and "oh you will float on through". Oh well, very discouraging but will just have to see what happens.

Having been a volunteer at the Norton Weight Management Center, when these packets come in they do not judge or shake their heads asking why is she doing this.   The staff are trained and caring professionals and understand the struggles.  Diets dont work, only 5 percent of individuals will be successful in keeping the weight off.    Kentucky is ranked 5th in the US being the most obese.  So do not feel like "Why is this girl here".

Day two of unfill - really watching myself.  Hard candy is terrible but its helping me right now.  I am tracking, taking vitamins, drinking liquids, and exercising.  Of course logging food is a given but I also doing mood and whatever fitday.com will let me.  This girl's got goals.  Could do better have done worse.  My daily stats.
