Today's exercising started well.  Started on treadmill first, then worked out with body electric, then got back on treadmill.  I surprised myself.  Of course I take my vitamins but not drinking as much water as in the past.  Working to increase water intake.  It was an oversite.  Water is easy for me.
Todays food intake was still too high in regard to carbs but otherwise not too bad.

Topic: Tuesday, 9/6/11 - Accountability

Hope all of you have been doing well.  I been mia but not from working my tool.  Have not had access to my computer but I have been doing well.  Exercising daily and increasing the time.  Unfortunately my appetite has increased but trying to stay with good protein. 

Tomorrow I will begin posting daily intake and exercise again.  In ten more days I will have survived one month with an empty band.  I have done better than expected.  I know your prayers have helped.  Don't stop. 
If I haven't told any of you lately that I wish you the best on your journey, please believe that I do and that I mention you in my prayers.

Hi Dawn, I had to get an upper GI and they found a lot of swelling so the cheapest thing to do is empty my band and see if the swelling would go down.  I had wanted to get a fill and had saved up the money but instead I paid the money but got unfilled.  I was upset but they showed me the pictures and I knew it was best.  Didn't stop me from crying.  After two months  I must get another upper GI then see where we go from there.  I may have to get an EDG which is more expensive, It's around $4,000 at the hospital where I had lapband surgery.  Hopefully I won't need it.  I have to take omeprezole daily for gas, which I was full of.  Otherwise things are ok.  I don't have insurance so that's the bummer.    I've been working out regularly with weights, treadmill, stationary bike and exercise DVD's along with trying to eat like I have a band.   It's hard.
Just got back from vacationing so I'll be back on the board journaling daily.
