That's terrific! I hope you really enjoy it. My mom is almost 73 and she joined a gym for the first time recently and loves it. She also has a Facebook account, so she's a pretty hip grandma!

Nearly everything I have bought was on clearance or otherwise really reduced. The new suit was a bit of splurge, but it was over 60% off and I need it for the hearing I have in California. You'd be surprised what you can find on the clearance racks. I have a lot of tops that I got for under $5.00 each. You can't even buy stuff at consignment shops for that!

i was watching biggest loser last week and they introduced a protein powder -very little calories if i heard them correctly....of course it was delicious..lol - has anyone heard or tried it and if you have do you know where to find it and is it REALLY any good??

i have lost sixty six lbs as of this morning ...my sister and my bf ( who was avoiding me for a while) is walking with me everyday..i try to get in 3 miles a day (not at once) six mths ago i could not walk around the mall to go shopping with my girls..i could not walk in the grocery store..i could not hardly walk at all ...today I CAN WALK!!!! i have a rare skin condition that causes knots to appear on my legs when i walk ..i found a medicine by researching online that has put in a type of remission however my legs still ached and i couldnt walk..HOWEVER since losing 66lbs and with the help of some mild pain reliever I CAN WALK...and one day I WILL RUN!!!!

im glad you posted all about yourself...for those of us who have come after you it gives us great inspiration..we all go at our on pace but its nice to see the progress that is made. i am very happy for you and im sure your son was right in saying you was always beautiful...that beauty is just enhanced now :)))

It is 2:35 in the morning and I woke up from the storms(I am terrified of lightning) that are rolling through NKY.
Today is going to be a great day Mollie is off school for teaching enrichment and I think while Patrick is at work we will do lunch, catch a movie and go to the bookstore. She will be gone tonight and 90% of tomorrow for a visit with her dad so Pat and I are doing date night at PF Changs and the comedy club.
Mollie will be back around 11 Saturday night so we are thinking of going down to Keeneland for a while on Saturday till she gets back.
Sunday after church there is a very good chance that other than straightening the house and throwing in the laundry the 3 of us will veg out in front of the T.V. and watch football all day. Sunday during the fall not leaving my house and watching football all day with Pat and Mollie is perfect for me.
