I am just a couple days shy of 3 months post op and have lost 68 lbs. I started in a size 30 jeans and am down to a 24, almost in a 22. I have so much more energy than before! I have recently joined a gym which I never would have done before. I am finding myself a lot more outgoing than before my WLS. I am so thankful to have had RNY so that I can get my life back!

I would like to have the opinion of anyone who has had a banding procedure.  I have my first appointment with my doctor about the banding procedure Monday 10-12-2009!  I am so worried about the surgery.  I don't know anyone who has had it.  I would like to know, first and for most, how painful it is.  It isn't going to sway my decision, I just want to be prepared for it when the time comes.  It has already been approved by my insurance!  I would also like to know what post-op recovery is like.  How long on an all liquid diet, soft foods diet... etc., how long were you off of work, what are the fills like.  The fills sound like they would be painful.  I just want to know what to look forward to.  I have only ever had one surgery, and I wasn't at all prepared and the recovery was terrible.  So, I would just like to know anything that you are willing to offer.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Feeling postive today  :)
1. It's Friday
2.  I am back to regular duty at work (although will have to have my gall bladder removed- sorry, not so positive).
3.  I am 19 1/2 months post op and down a total of 122 lbs. from my highest weight and have maintained that loss for a year!   TG4RNY!
4.  Have went from sizes 20-22 to 2-4!  Amazing!!!!!
