I don't think that Norton is doing any support group meetings this month because they are hosting a Halloween party for bariatric patients on 10/24.

I really like my surgeon, Dr. David Geller. He is an excellent doctor and very easy to talk to.
Welcome to Kentucky! I hope that you like it here. I think it's a great place to call home.

Dr. Thomas Sonnanstine he is in Georgetown we(my husband and I are both banders) live about 5 miles south of Cincy and drive roughly an hour to see him. He is quite awesome. Steve his head nurse has the funniest (especially if you like funny sarcascim as I do )bedside manner and his office staff are fabulous. His number is 1-502-867-3303.
I have also heard some really excellent things from some of the other ladies on here about their surgeons depending on where in KY you are located
I would put up a second post in regards to what are you have moved to and that may help key some of the other forum posters onto whether or not their doctor is near you.
Good luck

Tiffany,
I would be very interested in participating in your study. I too had my surgery in December of 2008. I am also a Social Work student although I am still at the bachelors level. I think this is a great project! I will email you my contact information!
