Topic: So happy with my RNY

According to my scale, I have lost 75 pounds since my pre-op high weight earlier this year.  I am so happy that I was able to have the surgery.  I am leaving for a business trip to California on Sunday and know that the plane ride there and back is going to be so much more comfortable than the last time I flew.

I am hoping to reach the 100-pound lost mark by Christmas.  Wouldn't that be a terrific gift?

I'm even going HIKING with my little boy on Saturday.  There is no way I would have been up to that prior to my surgery.

Thanks so much Lee Ann.  I see you are still doing good.  Hope all is well with you and the other girls.  I am trying to get it together.  Praying to reach and maintain my goal by next years Bandiversary.
Take care, and know that I think of you all often.  Joining facebook will take up too much of my time so I decided not.   Journaling takes up enough of my time and accountability is a must for me.

If your iron is low you might check into ferrous gluconate. It was suggested to me by a pharmacist. I was told it is absorbed farther down the intestinal track. I buy it a Walgreen's.

I understand what you mean.  I'm going to try to get to goal without a fill and then get one after I reach my goal to stay there.

If your teacher lets you change it, I'm sure myself & Beans can provide enough information for you to write a whole novel. Of course, it's probably not too common that surgeons mess up (i'll use nice words lol) lots of patients and then "skip off to a different state"...  LoL, I alone could provide enough for a Lifetime special -- complete w/ tears, sad faces, and the oh-so-sad music in the background.

Oh well, hopefully you'll find some people who had better luck!  lol.. there's got to be a few good stories..lol.
