Yes, it has been a week since I last posted.  Been traveling some, unfortunately a friend died.  However now it is vacation time.  I will start back posting accountability on January 1st.  I know its a new year but that's not the reason why. 
I will be settled for a while and able to post again daily.  If near a computer I will check in.  Hope all of you do well and remember it doesn't take much to fall back into our old habits.  Also remember that you can get back up after a fall.  Take care,

Morning,
I'm kinda sad.  Weight not disappearing like I was a newbie.  Of course not eating like one either.  I know it going to be slow this time.  Trying to avoid Atkins style eating though my body loves it.  The weight will drop off but I have not mastered the introduction of carbs back into the cycle to keep the weight off.  Until that mindset hits I am going to continue to work on myself.  Hope all of you are doing well.  Most of you will have added stressors this time of year with the holidays, so realize that and try to keep bad choices to a minimum. Uh Oh.  Carbs high and protein low.  No things aren't outrageous and calories are on the low side but I lose weight if carbs low.  I feel fuller when they are closer to 100.  Thinking that I will work hard at keeping them under 100 and making wise food choices.  Here's what I ate today.

Over ate yesterday in spite of my good intentions.  All was going well.  DH was kind enough to save me philly cheesesteak sandwich last night.  I could have said no but I didn't.  I threw away half the bread but was able to eat the sandwich.  Will I ever learn.  Anyway I have to be the master over what goes in my own mouth.  Had it been crack cocaine I would have just said NO.  Enough said.
Today I did 15 minutes on the treadmill, drank 16 oz of water, and vitamins are taken.  Here's my menu for today minus dinner, thinking of something light but low to no carb.

 Hope all are planning a wonderful Tuesday.  So far my menu is set, my mood is positive and its not raining.  Been trying to be a better housekeeper and prove to myself that I'm not a hoarder so I'm throwing away some items that are long past their time.  Otherwise I'm doing what I ought.  Since retirement, Monday through Friday, and one Saturday and one Sunday a month I go door to door encouraging people to read their bible.  Truly I have not missed secular working 9 hours a day.  True the financial benefits were great.  However I find my spiritual blessings are greater and we haven't suffered financially.  We seem to take more vacations and enjoy life more.  I would have never believed it until with prayer and encouragement I tried it.  My friends and family say the same about me, they never thought I would enjoy life as much without a full-time job.
