I did finally have the g. bypass July 31, 2008. I attempted to 12/08, but when the dr. opened me up I had stage 4 cirrhosis so he backed out and didn't finish. But finally my journey has started and its a struggle everyday. thanks for your support.

Move over Alice- after more than a year & a half, I have arrived in ONEderland!  It finally happened this morning when the scale said 199.  YAHOO!  Am I finished now?!  Heaven's no.  But oh, the glory, the motivation!!! I've been within 201-207 for MONTHS (oh, the frustration!!!!!!!) But now I'm ready to move forward- and DOWNWARD.  Reading of other peoples successes sometimes encouraged me in the past, sometimes, honestly, it made me a little jealous & added to my frustration.  But please, know that if you're stuck or frustrated today, the scale CAN MOVE and you can find yourself living healthier and lighter, hang in there!
Again, I'm celebratin' TODAY!!!!

Stacey, try not to get discouraged.  Only 4 months or so out and you're not THERE yet.  Hang in, hang on, keep doing what you know you're supposed to do, but with all that, stay positive about you!   Plateaus happen.  A little gain may happen.  But the weight loss WILL come.  You're already winning because you're on your way, your arrival has just been delayed.  Hope you have a great week-end

Im so disappointed in myself. Im trying to eat right (no sweets, occassional small carb) and i know im not exercising enought, but Ive only lost about half of what I should have by now. Some days it seems like i can't win.

So glad it is Friday!!!!!

The day has flown by and I have gotten lots of paperwork out of the way....but still have a lot to do.

Looking forward to the weekend......Have a going away celebration for one of the Lieutenants immediately after work toady, then going to a Christmas Concert tonight at the local college.
Leaving in the morning to go to VA  for my cousin's Christmas Party......and   back home Sunday.
Heard we may see a little snow which is exciting although I hate cold weather.

Hope everyone has  a great weekend!
