It shows on their website that Kroger's carry them. I don't know if the one near you does or not though. You might give them a call.

Get a Think Thin bar in the area??? I found them at the Bed, Bath and Beyond in SF and love them. They were 20 grams protein and about 210 calories with VERY low Sugar.
20 protein, 0 sugar and gluten free.... they are based in Ventura Cal.
OH, and they were only $1.69 which made me happy...the others were around 2 or more.
I found a number and will call them tomorrow. But wondered if anyone knew where I could find them.

I want to go, but have NO winter snow pants and will check the local good will as I cannot afford to shop. We hope to go...Hunter and I tubing and Steve laughing at me...my words NOT his. so we will continue to try. Kiddos are invited right?

OK, here I go...Tomorrow is my day!
I need to work on WATER and protien. I may have a bit of glitch with the morning as I have NO milk in the house to make my drink or cottage cheese.I have to eat soft in the am soooo I will have to make do. I will have to get some after work at 1 pm.
But either way I am back...and will be posting. OH>>>> and I will post my scale number when I get on tomorrow.

I think Becky said it very well. The thing I took away from my learning period is that we all are responsible for our own choices. We will have to work whatever it may be that we chose. We need to be willing to look at why we eat. I knwo that afternoons and boredom are REALLY bad for me...so I look at it and try to keep busy. When I volunteer at my sons school with the afterschool activity he is in I do NOT snack...but if I home I have to work hard not to. I also need to look at WHY I eat. IF I DO NOT work on that daily I will end up back where I started.

***EDIT- I have lost 130 pounds in 9 months and feel great. I went back to my half time job in 2 weeks and needed to rest a bit when I got home, BUT I teach preK and we do alot in the room.
I did not think it was overly painful. BUT I did take pain meds if I needed them. IF that would affect you at work you might want to consider. I am NOT a pro like some who are years out. I am just me and doing well.
YOU have lifting in nursing and my doc said ANY lifting was automatic 6 weeks off. That may be soemthing to ask the different surgeons you meet and talk to.

Hey Girls! Yes Monday it is!!!!!!!! and I am ACCOUNTABLE!!!
I did a 45 minute Cardio Mix class and a 45 minute total body toning class this am!!!
I've had 48 oz of water so far.. plus crystal light.. will get my last two glasses of water in tonight...
B: 2 eggs scrambled with cheese
yogurt
L: 2 oz Chicken
1/2 c cottage cheese
1 serv baked lays
S: Twisted Protein bar...
D: I'm thinking Chili.. but will let you all know..=)

Lunch 1.5 oz Roast Beef with a drop of gravy, broccoli casserole 1 oz not sure of nutritional value but it wasn't much.

My water has been lacking ever since winter set in, probably be lucky to do 32 oz.
I have not taken a vitamin in months

Howdy y'all!!
OK, it's the first Monday of the new year! No more excuses!!
Time for me to put on my big girl panties and start taking care of myself again!
I have a call into Doc Larson concerning my odd "tight with fluids but not actul food" situation and I am headed up to the YMCA once my Gracie gets home from school.
Whoever gets here first each day can start the post. No need to wait on me, OK??

FOOD
breakfast: Starbeck's latte (12oz 1% milk, 4 splenda, S/F syrup and a splash of coffee)
lunch 1: 1/2 cup Egg beater omelet w/ 1/4 cup shreeded cheese, a dollop of sour cream and a couple spoons of salsa
Lunch 2: the rest of the omelet since I can't eat it all at one time
dinner: I'm making chicken mexi-junk! It's naked chicken tenders with a can of black beans, a can of mexi-corn and a packet of taco seasoning all thrown into a skillet and cooked up. I usually add a dollop of sour cream, a bit of shredded cheese and some taco sauce on top. My portion will be about 1/2 a cup
evening snack: S/F CIB to boost my protein count
**Not sure I'm going to count carb/calories/protein for now. I'm going to focus on quality choices and proper volume instead.
FLUIDS
12oz milk
20oz water is going to the gym with me
32oz crystal light I will sip on all night til bed.
FITNESS
Check! Did 30 minutes on the treadmill and then 12 minutes on the climber. That climber is a butt kicker!!
