Well, I have heard from Great West my insurance co. They are going to approve my tummy tuck and hernia repair IF I go see my primary care doc once a month for 3 months and have him document the rash in my belly button and the hernia. How u can document a hernia who knows? But at least in 3 months I will get a full tummy tuck. That was the major thing I wanted done anyways. Now, the arms, boobs, and thighs they won't touch and I can't say I care too much that they won't. I am just grateful that I will get the tummy tuck. I don't even mind waiting 3 months. Adam loves me like I am now so if I can't get my arms, boobs done or thighs it doesn't matter. My skin issues there aren't as bad as what some people have and I will just live with it. I wasn't expecting them to do that anyway. Adam wanted me to find out about breast implants and financing cause he thinks I want them, but I am not going to do that. It would put a extra financial burden on him and I don't need em. Thats what they make push up bras for and as long as he loves me I am happy. Just wanted to let u know... Now I am going outside to spend time with my hubby! Hugs Angela

Congrats.....hope all goes well. Trust me, You DON'T want implants!!!!! I am a 38 DD and I can't hardly find bras to fit and they are so heavy that I have problems with my neck and back. I have actually gone to a surgeon about a reduction and he told me to wait and see how much weight I lose in the next year and then we would decide. Push up bras and water bras are great and as my hubby says, "more than a mouth full is a waste". He said it, I didn't. LOL Keep me posted. By the way, I really enjoyed you pics and story. Angie

Thats what I told my hubby, I don't need implants. Mine are still there, they're just sort of flat. But thats where a push up bra comes in! Thank u! Angela

All I can say is that I called my insurance co and asked them if they covered any of the plastics since they covered the gastric bypass. They told me they would cover any thing that was medically necessary. With my belly button rash and hernia I just have to do the 3 months of documented visits with my pcp about them. U could start that anytime. Have u had surgery yet?

Well good luck and keep me posted! I had my sleep study done and soon as I found out I had sleep apnea I made an appt with Dr Shina. It didn't take long at all. As for plastics after surgery. Once u have surgery and start losing, make sure each time u see your surgeon or PCP (after u have lost enough that u have loose skin) make sure u complain about rashes, sore, etc if u have them. The more documentation u have the better. Take pics, once a month. Well, my insurance made me. Naked pics once a month and the only thing they approved was the tummy tuck which is what I need the most, lol. I bought a 2 piece bathing suit today. My thighs look hideous, but my hubby picked it out and said he will be hurt if I return it. I think I will buy some shorts to wear over it. lol
