smoking

im finding it so hard to stop smoking is anyone else having trouble i go for my lab work on friday 13th i dont no if im going to have the wls if i cant stop what do i do help will they do wls if u are still smoking

Tina...the surgeons I know will not do the surgery if they know you are still smoking.. hang in there, go see your PCP and get some help maybe the patch or something..however, remember the patch still has the nicotine so they want you off that before the surgery too.. it's important for your breathing..etc to stop, besides why go through this surgery to regain your life back and still smoke? nows the time for changes.. good luck Brenda

hi Tina my surgeon did not make me quit although he said i need to quit qnd reccomended i quit and wants me to quit and all that but i haven't been able to quit BUT i reccomend you just throw them down and quit well I'm agood one to give advice on this subject lol Good luck
