Update on TT and hernia repair!

Hi all, I am doing really well, The only place that really hurts is where he cut off the little bone under the ribs, it was sticking almost straight out! I am still wearing my binder but I have no staples. he put in a stictch or two and glued the rest! I get the two drains out on Tuesday but have to wait two more days to see the doctor! His nurse pulls the drian! that will be a fun day NOT! I still have some swellling in my legs and ankles, I tried to put on my jeans and those were just too tight I guess I am just bloated all over. My goal today is to drink a gallon of water, just plain water, hopefully this will help get rid of all that swelling, I gained 12 pounds in the hospital and have lost about 6 of it. I won't worry about the swelling or the weight gain right now, as long as I feel better on Janurary 20th when my son graduates Marine boot camp. everything will be just fine. Donna So glad you are doing well. I'm better than I was but still not back to my self yet. My scales shows I ave lost the20pds I had gained ...lol just hope Dr As shows same thing when I go on the5th. I posted what happen to me in hosp. I was so mad. Also for them to tell me it was a out patient operation. I think they was wrong on that but I stayed anyways.I'm gonna ask Dr A about all that on the 5th when I go see him.well guss this is about it keep me up dated how you are doing take care hugggggs Beth
