Humana One---Individual Plan?

I'm looking into what insurance to get that will cover WLS. Humana One said this under their exclusions: Obesity except for morbid obesity. It sounds like they would cover to me. What do you guys think? I need advice desperately. Melissa

To me, it sounds like morbid obesity is an exception and that they won't cover it........you can always call or check online....... Good luck! Jojo

I agree with Jojo, Call and ask. If they don't want to play ball maybe you can find a provider who will. Also, you may want to check on their timeline, you know, is this pre-existing or whatever. I'm not sure how that works but from some of the denials I've read on here, some insurance companies can get quite creative in denying stuff. Good Luck and God Bless Angi

Well Humana informed me they could not provide me with coverage because of my height and weight! There goes that. I won't give up! Missy
