My waist size Original Post by Amy H at 10:07 AM CST on 09/28/2005 Keller, TX - RNY (03/30/2005) - Wade Barker, M.D. Hello my fellow Texans. I was hoping to get some opinions on a issue I am having. I rarely post... but I read the boards daily. Here is my problem... (if it is one). I am very thankful for my 85 lb weight loss. I am 5'5 and now weigh 185 and 6 months out of surgery. When I first started this Journey I was wearing a size 22 pants. I am only down to a loose fitting 18. I can squeeze into a size 16. Some are OK fitting depending on the brand, others I have to lay on the bed to get them zipped up. All 16's fit loose in my legs and but, it's my stomach that I am having the problem with. My issue is, I feel like I should be wearing a smaller size by now, like a size 14. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks guys. --------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, YES I have this same problem... I do not see the loss in my mid section as much as I would like. I know I have lost a lot of weight, (88 pounds!)...But I was hoping I would be farther along in the middle section. I know it is WAY COLDER here than in Texas, and I am going to have to buy pants! I am not looking forward to that at all! Anyone else had this problem? Huggs Sunni
